Fish Hat!
Our of our newer knitters has tackled some great first projects and this is one of them, a fish hat from Knitty.com

OMGSH. Is that an angler fish hat? I have an 11 year old that would love that. How can I get me some of that?

ReplyDeleteSomeone else on Ravelry gave me the idea.
The little dangly thing is made with 3 pipecleaners twisted together, wrapped in a bit of duct tape inside an icord.
I crocheted the ball @ the end using Bernat glow in the dark yarn for extra realism.
Thanks so much! My 11-year-old stepdaughter keeps texting asking if it's done yet! She's so excited.
